The current Youth Group has been in existence for several years and is run by a team of volunteers who have all undergone CRB checks. The Youth Group meets in St Wilfrid’s Church each Wednesday evening during school term time from 7.00 – 9.00pm.
The group is open to any youngster who lives in Barrow and is of secondary school age. It is for anyone, not just for those people who attend Church services.
Activities include snooker, table tennis, table games, craftwork, music etc. and weather permitting, volleyball, rounders and football in the summer months. We currently have around 20 active members who meet together each week for games, refreshments or ‘chilling out’.
